Last updated on Monday, November 17, 2008

(BLOOMFIELD) - Six inmates in the Greene County jail, including one Lawrence County resident, have had additional charges filed against them because, as Greene County officials say, they were sneaking off via hidden areas of the jail to engage in sexual activity.

The Greene County Daily World reports Greene County residents and inmates 44-year-old William Hutcherson Jr., 38-year-old Jesse Ross, 21-year-old Misty Moore, 26-year-old Nicole Halderman, one 17-year-old male, and 27-year-old Kay Snyder of Springville are all now facing felony escape charges as officials say they left their segregated cell blocks through the ceiling to engage in sexual activity several times over the past couple months.

The overall plot, as it were, was discovered when guard searched the female cell and found letters detailing the encounters.
