FEMA Extends Disaster Application Deadlines

(UNDATED) - The Federal Emergency Management Agency has extended the deadline for several counties to apply for disaster assistance by 30 days.

Those who were affected by the remnants of Hurricane Ike have a little more time to get their apps in as a result.

Within the WBIW listening area, people in Washington, Jennings and Crawford Counties have until December 14th to file.

People living in Dubois, Jackson and Spencer Counties have until December 22nd.
