(INDIANAPOLIS) - Well, seems like the poll-workers prayer was answered in this year's gubernatorial race.
For those of you that don't know the poll-worker's prayer, it's simple enough: "Dear Lord, let it be a landslide."
Shortly after polls closed in Indiana last night, Republican Governor Mitch Daniels was called to win a second term over Democrat Jill Long Thompson and Libertarian Andrew Horning.
Daniels won the gubernatorial race with 57% of the vote compared to Long Thompson's 40%.
Long Thompson's campaign was criticized by political watchers for not landing on a solid, consistent message that resounded with Hoosiers, and, in the end, the polling that showed Daniels ahead by double digits all election long came to reality last night.
