(UNDATED) - In out of county races from Tuesday night, Democrats, almost unsurprisingly, made a sweep in Monroe County.
Democrats took the three open County Council-at-Large seats in Monroe, and both Commissioner seats, as well as all the contested judge seats.
However, the Richland-Bean Blossom referendum, which would have given the school corporation $35 million to rehab facilities, was defeated.
In Greene County, there may be a recount for the third County Council-at-Large seat. The Greene County Daily World reports Republican incumbent Ken Gremore lost by a mere 3 votes to Democrat Rae Ella Cravens. There are 8 provisional ballots with votes in that race that could tip, or solidify that result.
In Orange County, all county incumbents running for office again retained their seats. All Republicans took the one county Commissioner and three County Council-at-Large seats contested.
Finally, in Jackson County, there are two new Commissioners, and one new Councilman.
