(BLOOMINGTON) - A tragic incident took the life of a 20-year-old Bloomington woman in the downtown area of the campus town.
The Bloomington Herald Times reports a woman was found lying on the sidewalk near 7th Street.
Bloomington police say the woman jumped off the 7th Street parking garage in an apparent suicide case. When EMTs responded to the scene, they say they could not find a pulse, and she was transported to Bloomington Hospital by ambulance.
Police found one witness that saw the woman fall, and say they found her purse which had identification including a school ID, however, police would not say which school it belonged to.
