More Federal Aid Requested For Ike's Damage In Indiana

Last updated on Monday, October 13, 2008

(INDIANAPOLIS) - Governor Mitch Daniels has requested federal public assistance for 14 counties in Southern and Northwest Indiana from the September 12th wind storms.

Clark, Crawford, Jennings, Scott and Washington Counties are among others in Southern Indiana that Daniels made the request for, along with Lake and Porter Counties up north.

If approved, this would allow the federal government to help with up to 75% of the cost of debris removal and other recovery efforts.
