(MOORESVILLE) - A Mooresville man is facing a murder charge after a man he is accused of beating in Morgan County was found dead.
The Bloomington Herald Times reports Morgan County Sheriff's dispatchers received a 911 call yesterday regarding a battery, and when officers arrived on scene, they found Michael Ray Wilson unresponsive.
Medical personnel declared Wilson dead at the scene, and then police took 46-year-old Alan James Hoover into custody at the scene.
The paper says Wilson was just released from prison earlier this month after pleading guilty to a couple minor drug charges.
