Last updated on Thursday, October 30, 2008

(BLOOMFIELD) - The man arrested for the early September robbery of the MainSource bank in Linton has pled guilty.

The Greene County Daily World reports 21-year-old Steven McIntyre of Jasonville negotiated a plea agreement that saw him plead guilty to a class-b felony charge of armed robbery with a deadly weapon.

McIntyre now faces up to 20 years in jail and $10,000 in fines.

McIntyre was originally accused of robbing the MainSource bank in Linton September 10th while carrying a rifle.

The paper says McIntyre demanded the teller placed the money into a Hannah Montana backpack.
