(DUBOIS COUNTY) - An Iowa man was pulled over in Dubois County for a license plate violation, and wound up in jail, for deserting the Army.
State Police Jasper say an officer saw a red Firebird on US-231 driving along with an improperly displayed license plate and pulled the car over.
When the officer ran the records of the driver, 19-year-old Corey Goodman of Winfield, Iowa, he discovered Goodman was wanted for desertion from the US Army.
Goodman was taken to the Dubois County jail without incident.
