(CRAWFORD COUNTY) - State Police Jasper say a Columbus man may have had a seizure on Interstate 64, causing him to run his car into a tree.

State police reports say 27-year-old Robert Mixner of Columbus was heading east on I-64 when his car left the roadway and struck a tree.

Mixner complained of abdominal injuries and was taken to Harrison County Hospital via Crawford County ambulance, where he is currently listed in stable condition.

Police believe he may have had a seizure while driving which caused him to lose control of his car.
