(BEDFORD) - Bedford police detectives are investigating an unattended death from late yesterday afternoon.
Yesterday before 4:30pm, Bedford police responded to a call of a deceased individual at the 2100 block of J Street.
A release put out by the Bedford Police Department says detectives are currently investigating the nature of the death.
Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley told WBIW News this morning that detectives involved in the investigation are currently working with the autopsy, however, Parsley says he cannot release the identity of the victim pending notification of next of kin.
