Bedford Fire Dept. Recognized For Zero Deaths In 2007

(BEDFORD) - The Bedford Fire Department has received recognition from the Residential Fire Safety Institute.

The 2007 Life Safety Achievement Award was presented to the Bedford Fire Department for reducing the number of lives lost.

The reason Bedford fire received this award for the year 2007 because there were zero fire deaths within the city for the entire year.
