(COLUMBUS) - Bartholomew County Republicans will meet Saturday to select a Township Assessor to replace County Auditor Nancy McKinney — who died along with her husband in a house fire last week.
County Republican Chairman Ted Ogle says precinct committee members plan to appoint Columbus Township Assessor Barb Hackman to fill out McKinney's term.
Ogle says she is the only candidate to be considered by the caucus.
