(JASPER) - Police have a man in custody on a child molestation charge.
State police allege 27-year-old Emilio Rodriguez Diaz of Jasper allegedly molested an 8-year-old girl for the past several months, and that the girl revealed the problem to her family recently.
However, by the time state police had received the call, Diaz had high-tailed it out of state, but cooperative efforts found him in the Atlanta suburb of Doraville, Georgia.
Diaz is currently in the Dekalb County Georgia jail awaiting transport to Dubois County.
