After Service, Deputy Jones To Go Home To Michigan

(BLOOMINGTON) - A memorial service will be held today for a Monroe County Sheriff’s deputy who was fatally injured last week.

After the service today, the body of 27-year-old Deputy Sarah Jones will be returned to her hometown, Coldwater, Michigan, for burial.

Jones was struck by a sport utility vehicle Friday in Bloomington while directing traffic around a stranded motorist.
