(BLOOMINGTON) - Indiana University police are on the hunt for an 18-year-old male that attacked students with a sharp-edged weapon shortly after midnight Saturday morning.

IUPD Captain Jerry Minger says a group of three female and one male students were all walking back to their dorms when they were approached by a man who started waving what is described as a sharp-edged weapon at them.

Two of the women suffered superficial cuts to their faces, but the guy took a 4-inch cut to his neck, and was taken by police to Bloomington Hospital.

Currently, the suspect is described as a white male between 5'9" and 6'2", slim, and wearing a yellow t-shirt, blue jeans and a white hooded sweatshirt.
