Persimmon Festival Day Six

(MITCHELL) - The Mitchell Persimmon Festival coroneted their newest Persimmon Festival Queen at the Main Street Stage last night.

Lisa Buschmann, a foreign exchange student from Frankfort Germany, was named queen. Buschmann is a sixteen year old student at Mitchell High School, and is currently staying with Tom and Michele Super.

Suzanne Burger was named Miss Congeniality and was also named one of the six princesses. The other five princesses were, Elizabeth Patton, Amanda Brinkman, Montana Lucas, Caitlin Jeffries, and Autumn Padgett.

Tonight at the Persimmon Festival, donate blood at the Red Cross blood drive starting at 1:00pm, and catch Open Heart and the Wray Brothers tonight.

Tomorrow is the fish fry and a performance by Endless Summer.
