Persimmon Festival Day Five

(MITCHELL) - Tonight at the Mitchell Persimmon Festival, the city south of the river gets a new Persimmon Festival Queen.

The Persimmon Festival Queen pageant takes place tonight at 4:30 at the Mitchell High School auditorium, with the crowning tonight at the Main Street Stage at 8:30pm. Also today, it's senior citizen's afternoon, and don't forget the carnival.

Tomorrow brings a Red Cross blood drive and performances by Open Heart and the Wray Brothers on the Main Street Stage.

Congratulations to Mitchell's Mini Miss, Little Miss and Junior Miss Persimmon winners last night. Allison passMore won Mini Miss, Mattie England took Little Miss and Alyssa Duncan won Junior Miss.
