Orleans Clean Sweep Next Week

(ORLEANS) - Cleanup from the remnants of Hurricane Ike continues in the Town of Orleans.

Orleans Clerk-Treasurer Robert Henderson says crews are still helping residents clean up debris including tree limbs and brush.

Also, next week, Orleans will be holding a town-wide clean sweep to help residents get thing cleaned up for fall and the coming winter.

Orleans residents are being urged, next week, to get yards cleaned up, homes and outbuildings spruced up, and to help, the town is having crews pickup heavy items that need to be discarded.
