Montgomery Toddler's Death Ruled Homicide

(WASHINGTON) - The death of a Montgomery child has been ruled a homicide.

Two-year-old Jalen Blake died from a blunt impact to his head. The child had also tested positive for methamphetamine.

The boy's mother, Vadney Blake was arrested for neglect of a dependent and conspiracy to manufacture meth.

Blake's boyfriend, Jeff Truelove, committed suicide in Martin County after fleeing from Jasper police who stopped at his house to check on the status of his probation.
