(UNDATED) - South Central Indiana was hit hard by the storms, but not necessarily the worst.
In Northwest Indiana, crews are sandbagging area waterways after record rainfall around the Lake Michigan area that has even placed the entire City of Chicago in a declared state of emergency.
Two people were found dead in a flooded culvert in Porter County, a fatality in Clark County is being blamed on a tree falling on a vehicle, and a tree fell on another person in Ohio County causing the state's fourth fatality.
Scott, Jefferson, Perry and Porter Counties have all declared states of emergency which means travel is restricted.
Three levees and one dam have either been topped or breached in Lake County.
In Jennings County, power is out to 90,000 people.
Finally, the Indiana National Guard, INDOT, the Department of Corrections, and Indiana Task Force One are all out on the ground getting things put back together.
