(SPENCER) - An Ellettsville man is dead after a motorcycle accident yesterday near Spencer.
Owen County and state police responded to the wreck that shut down US-231 north of Spencer.
Police say 59-year-old John Freeman was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency responders after, Freeman left the roadway, struck a guardrail and was thrown from the bike.
US-231 was closed until sometime late in the afternoon.
