(CRANE, IN) - The Naval Surface Warfare Center in Crane is officially opening the nation’s only fully integrated small arms weapon development center.
The new special weapons engineering facility will be dedicated on the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.
It's designed to enhance Crane's ability to develop, test and produce the types of weapons that have seen a 400% increase in the military deployment since 9/11.
