Those who get signed on by next Tuesday will start seeing benefits of the Do-Not-Call List on October 1st. This is the last opportunity for benefits to begin before the end of the year.
The next batch will have a deadline of November 18th, and won't be effective until New Year's Day 2009.
People who want to sign up can call (888) 834-9969 or by logging on to attorneygeneral.in.gov.
