Fed. Grant To Fuel Columbus Businesses Following Floods

Last updated on Tuesday, August 19, 2008

(COLUMBUS) - The City Of Columbus will use a $200,000 dollar federal grant to help with business development initiatives following this year’s flooding.

The money will supplement other local financing designed to assist small and emerging businesses affected by the high water in the city limits.

The grant program aims to provide an incentive for business expansion, job retention and creation and private investment in Indiana's rural areas.
