(MONCKS CORNER, SC) - Three Bloomingtonians are being held on bond for a series of bank robberies in Moncks Corner, South Carolina.

According to the Journal Scene of Summerville, South Carolina, 24-year-old Lawanda Johnson, 30-year-old Auric Dylan Koestner and 32-year-old Brandon Evan Williams, all of Bloomington, Indiana, had bail set at a half million dollars each.

Moncks Corner Judge George Bishop is quoted in the Summerville paper as saying he is hopes the trio won't be able to make bail.

Court records show all three had been in the South Carolina town about 30 miles north of Charleston for less than two weeks, and all were either on parole or probation for other violent crimes.

The paper says the three are currently accused of robbing the South Carolina Bank and Trust in Moncks Corner Wednesday morning, and charges are also pending in two other robberies from neighboring Dorchester County.

Currently, charges against all three include bank robbery, conspiracy to commit bank robbery, assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature and use of a weapon in a violent crime.

The Journal Scene says nobody was injured, at least, in the Moncks Corner robbery.

Update:
Bloomington Police Captain Joe Qualters says Johnson is also being sought in two more robberies in Monroe and Morgan Counties.

Johnson was identified as a suspect in robberies at the People's State Bank on Clarizz Blvd. in Bloomington from July 14th as reported by WBIW News here.

Additionally, Qualters says the Morgan County Sheriff's Department has been working with Bloomington Detective Rich Hunter on a possible connection with the robbery of another People's State Bank in Paragon, Indiana that WBIW News reported on here, possibly involving Williams.
