Some Counties Get Extension From FEMA For Flood Damage

(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Federal Emergency Management Agency has extended deadlines for flooded counties to apply for disaster assistance.

The original deadline, Monday the 21st, has been extended 1 month to August 20th for Monroe, Morgan, Brown, Owen, Jackson, Washington, Greene and other counties, and later dates for some of Indianapolis's collar counties.

Lawrence County, which saw less damage, expired on July 8th.
