Monroe County Tax Bills Arrive 27% Lighter On Average

(INDIANAPOLIS) - More property tax bills are on their way, this time for Monroe County residents.

Officials at the state Office of Management and Budget say Monroe County residents can expect to see a 27% drop in property tax bills from 2007.

When Lawrence and Martin County bills came out, savings reportedly averaged to 21%.
