Task Force Scores Another Big Drug Bust

(BEDFORD) - Four people are in custody after the joint task force between the Bedford and Lawrence County Police Departments completed another successful bust.

Police completed the bust after becoming aware of illegal drug activity in a house on the 800 block of Ninth Street and ultimately arrested four people.

21 year old Christopher Duke of Michigan City was charged with maintaining a common nuisance.

21 year old Dustin Johnson of Bedford was taken in for visiting a common nuisance and possession of marijuana.

24 year old Maressa Stidam of Bedford was brought in a number of charges including maintaining a common nuisance, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of a legend drug, and taking a child to a common nuisance.

They also found Sue Ellen Bilyeu of Williams, she was brought in for a warrant from Greene County for failure to appear to face a charge of check deception.

All were taken to Lawrence County Jail without incident.
