Plenty Of Cleaning, Repairs, Left To Be Done

(UNDATED) - They call it stormy Monday, but Tuesday was twice as bad, and Wednesday was almost worse! Central and South Central Indiana has a lot of storm damage to clean up from.

Governor Mitch Daniels already had a stop planned in Bloomington around 10:00am this morning for an economic development announcement, however, his schedule has changed slightly and he will now be stopping around Edinburgh and Camp Atterbury on his way there to assess damage.

Vermillion, Randolph and Greene Counties have had disaster declarations made for them, the first two counties for flooding, and Greene for tornadoes.

Nine people have been reported injured in Rush County, one of which was critical, and two more in Greene, and 1 here in Lawrence County.

In Brown County, INDOT and the Department of Corrections had been called in to clear about 5 miles of debris from IN-46, and 1 vacant commercial building in Bartholomew County suffered major damage.

As of last night, all traffic in and out of Bloomfield was closed as well as several state roads near the town.
