Medical Condition Blamed For Fatal Greene County Accident

Last updated on Monday, June 2, 2008

(GREENE COUNTY) - Bloomington State Police are still trying to figure out the exact cause of a fatal accident in eastern Greene County over the weekend.

Bloomington's Sgt. Curt Durnil says 52-year-old Wesley Gentry died after his truck ran off the road while traveling west on IN-445 in Greene County.

According to Durnil's release, for unknown reasons, Gentry crossed the centerline and ran off the opposite side of the highway and came to a rest. When help arrived, they noticed no sign of physical injury and he was then taken to Greene County General Hospital where he passed away.

Right now, a medical issue is being blamed, however, what, exactly, it is, remains a mystery.
