(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington Police arrested a man for entering a south side apartment and fondling an 11 year old girl.
18 year old Brandon McCarey was lodged in Monroe County Jail on preliminary charges of burglary and sexual battery.
Bloomington Police Officials say they were called to an apartment in the 2300 block of South Rockport Road around 1:30 yesterday morning where a woman reported that a man entered her apartment and then began kissing and fondling her daughter.
When the girl screamed the man ran from the apartment and was identified by neighbors as McCarey.
The officers then apprehended McCarey and the woman and girl both identified him as the man in the apartment.
