(BLOOMINGTON) - Indiana State Police in the Bloomington District, and state wide, are heading out to inspect area school buses.
The annual school bus inspections will involve more than 15,000 big yellow kid-movers, 1,500 of which have to be inspected twice a year since they are more than 6-years-old.
Even a small violation could result in a "rejected" listing, and those small issues have to be taken care of within 30 days.
Major violations will put a bus out of service until that violation is rectified.
