(UNDATED) - Flood warnings along sections of the White River and East Fork continue.
National Weather Service meteorologists are expecting near record level flooding to develop with the worst-hit areas to include Bloomfield, Lyons, Newberry, Elnora, Brownstown, Medora, and Edwardsport.
Yesterday afternoon, the current river crest was near Seymour and headed our way, and just came 1 inch shy of breaking the local flood record set back in 1913, but in Columbus, they broke their 1913 record by a healthy foot.
Here in Bedford, river levels are expected to top out almost 10 feet over flood stage by Wednesday morning, which would block south I Street, and also cause backwash in Leatherwood and Salt Creeks.
In Rivervale, river levels will hit 13 feet over flood stage by tomorrow evening, requiring evacuations near Fort Ritner, and flooding county and local roads for some distance.
In Williams, look for the river to get around 8 feet over flood stage, causing some living in river cabins to evacuate, and IN-450 and CR400 South to flood.
Currently, Dillman Road, just west of Williams, is reported to have about 2 feet of water standing on it.
