(BLOOMINGTON)- The Hilltop Garden and Nature Center in Bloomington is celebrating a large donation, from an unlikely source.

George Archer, who died last year at the age of 100, left $650,000 to the volunteer group. Archer never married, had no children and lived simply and supported himself by caring for other people's lawns.

The gift is allowing them to conduct a major fundraising campaign.
