(BLOOMINGTON) - A Bloomington man is in custody on child porn charges after police found a picture of a nude 15-year-old girl on his cell phone.
Monroe County Sheriff's Department officials say they received a tip that 40-year-old Allen Bruce of Bloomington was having a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old girl that reportedly was related to him, so they ran a check on him and saw he was wanted on a warrant for unrelated charges.
When they went to serve that warrant, they found a picture of the girl on his cell phone from when the girl was 15, and, after initially denying he had it, Bruce eventually admitted she had sent it to him and that he reportedly intended to develop a relationship with her when she turned 16.
Bruce was taken into custody on a felony charge of possession of child pornography.
