(BLOOMINGTON) - Law enforcement and rescue agencies in Monroe County saved a couple stranded in flood waters on Friendship Road Tuesday night.

Shortly before 10:00pm when the helicopter arrived, the pilot saw a flashing flashlight and shined a spotlight on it, and found them, about 5 hours after they initially got lost, and pinpointed the location of 23-year-old Brent Campbell and 20-year-old Courtney Kent, who were soon after rescued and treated by medical techs for shock.

Neither was seriously injured.
