Last updated on Tuesday, May 27, 2008

(BEDFORD) - An bunch of parking lot donuts caused a rollover accident late last night injuring at least 3.

Bedford police reports say 19-year-old Bryan Scott of Bedford was driving in the parking lot of the Broadview Bowl around midnight last night when, officers say, he started doing donuts in his Chevy SUV, causing the truck to flip over one whole time and land on its driver's side.

Scott and his front seat passenger, 19-year-old Brittany Skelton of Bedford, took off running, and when officers arrived, they only found the back seat passengers, 33-year-old Misty Walker of Anderson and Shaun East.

Walker suffered a laceration near her eye, East reported no injuries, but was found to be intoxicated underage and wanted on an arrest warrant and was taken into custody. Walker was also arrested on currently unlisted charges.

Officers would eventually catch up with Scott and Skelton, taking them into custody.

Skelton is facing an illegal consumption charge, Scott is charged with the same, plus leaving the scene of an accident with injuries and possession of marijuana.

All except Skelton were lodged in the Lawrence County jail.
