(BLOOMFIELD) - Greene County Sheriff’s deputies finally caught up with the two men shot at during a break in.

County officials say the two men have been identified as 32-year-old John "JD" Lawson of Bloomington, and 27-year-old Chad Rollins of Bloomfield.

Rollins had been shot in the leg by the owner of K&H Auto when they allegedly broke into the facility. Rollins was taken by ambulance to Greene County General Hospital where his injuries were treated and then he was remanded to police custody.

Lawson was shot in the torso, and then admitted to the Bloomington Hospital ER, where he was then flown to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis in critical but stable condition.

Rollins was already lodged in Greene County jail facing felony charges of theft and conspiracy to commit burglary.

Lawson will also be facing the same as well as another burglary charge, as Greene County detectives reportedly found evidence to tie the two to several other crimes in Greene County.
