(UNDATED) - The Indiana Department of Transportation wants to alert drivers to the beginning of highway mowing operations.
INDOT is responsible for mowing grass along all state roads, US highways and interstates in Indiana.
In the Lawrence County area, INDOT says they will be mowing 4-lane sections of US-50 with a 3-cycle mowing process, which includes one round before Memorial Day, one round by July and one in September.
