Last updated on Tuesday, May 20, 2008

(BLOOMINGTON) - Political junkies beware, C-Span is bringing their Campaign 2008 tour bus to the Indiana University campus Thursday!

The "Road to the White House" bus from C-Span will be stopping at the circle drive in front of the Indiana Memorial Union for a couple hours Thursday afternoon.

The bus is a mobile studio intended to promote C-Span's coverage of the 2008 elections and, according to a release by Indiana University, the bus has been around quite a bit since it first hit the road in January of 2007.

So far, it's been to 29 state capitals, 71 universities, 95 schools and has hosted 278 elected officials including 4 presidential candidates, 2,750 teachers and more than 21,000 students.

The bus will arrive at the IMU at around 1:30 Thursday afternoon.
