Bloomington Police Find Cocaine Inside Cereal Box

Last updated on Saturday, May 24, 2008

(BLOOMINGTON) - A Bloomington man is behind bars after police say they found drugs hidden in a cereal box at his home.

37-year-old Albert "Punch" Jones faces three felony counts of dealing cocaine. Investigators say they found 33 individually packaged bags with an off-white, rock-like substance believed to be crack -- inside a box of Honey Smacks.

Detectives had been following Jones after several controlled buys earlier this year. At his apartment, they also confiscated a digital scale, $300 in cash and a green leafy substance believed to be marijuana.

Jones is currently being held in the Monroe County Jail.
