Jeremy Piven In Bloomington To Support Barack Obama

Last updated on Wednesday, April 2, 2008

(BLOOMINGTON) - Just because Bill Clinton’s coming to South Central Indiana, doesn’t mean he’s going to have the stage to himself.

HBO's Entourage star Jeremy Piven will be in Bloomington this morning from 10:30 to 11:30 supporting democratic rival and Illinois Senator Barack Obama.

Afterwards, Piven is scheduled to appear at a nearby fraternity. Piven's main appearance will be at the Frangipani Room at the Indiana Memorial Union.

The actor is a native of the Chicago suburb of Evanston, and has endorsed Barack Obama.

Additionally, Obama campaign official Robert O'donnell told WBIW News the Illinois senator himself is planning a trip through Hoosier country, and some are saying he'll be in Indiana as early as next week.

Obama has been spending most of his time in Pennsylvania which holds their primary April 22nd, which, for the Clinton campaign, is really a make-or-break moment.

After that, Indiana is the next "big one," and shares a primary day with North Carolina May 6th.
