Shoals Now Facing Worst Flooding

Last updated on Tuesday, March 25, 2008

(BEDFORD) - Flooding problems continue to diminish throughout Lawrence and surrounding counties.

Most flooding issues have diminished in Orange County which was the hardest hit, however, doesn't have a major waterway flowing through it.

Right now, all eyes are on Shoals, which is reportedly currently experiencing water crests along the East Fork of the White River.

Water levels have gotten more than 10 feet over flood stage in shoals, causing major flooding problems.

In Williams and Bedford, river levels are continuing to fall, and should be back close to normal by the end of the week.
