(BRANCHVILLE) - An inmate at the Branchville Correctional Facility allegedly tried to escape yesterday.
A report released by State Police Jasper says Michael Johnson, an inmate at the Branchville Correctional Facility, was unaccounted for during the evening inmate count.
It appears, however, he didn't get beyond the fence.
Police say they found Johnson hiding out near the laundry building. Officials are continuing to investigate the incident.
