(ORLEANS) - With Orleans celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Dogwood Festival, they have decided to dig into the event’s history and bring back a popular event, the window display contest.
The festival, which goes from April 25th through May 4th, is encouraging businesses to decorate their display windows, and for churches, clubs and other groups to adopt other display windows, to help promote the theme of "40 Years of Dogwood History and Tradition."
Festival organizers will be presenting ribbons for 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes, as well as for Most Original, Best Representation of the Festival Theme and the Chairman's Choice.
