(BEDFORD) - Bedford police pulled over a woman they suspected as being intoxicated last night.
Shortly before 7:00pm, Bedford police say they spotted 31-year-old Kristen Lester of Bedford driving erratically on Lincoln Avenue between 5th and 8th Streets.
When the officer pulled her over, according to the report, Lester appeared disoriented and showed signs of being intoxicated.
However, they couldn't smell any alcoholic beverage, so they took her to Dunn Memorial Hospital for a voluntary blood draw.
Though results of the test are still pending, Lester was charged with public intoxication, operating while intoxicated and failure to use a turn signal and was lodged in Lawrence County jail.
