(UNDATED) - A combination of freezing rain, sleet and snow has forced many area schools to close their doors on Wednesday.
Area children will once again celebrate a day off this Wednesday, February 13th due to the severe winter weather that has swept across the South Central Indiana area in the last 24 hours.
Schools affected by the Wednesday closings include but are not limited to: North Lawrence Comm Schools, Mitchell Comm Schools, Oolitic Christian School, Orleans Comm Schools, Shoals Comm Schools, Spencer-Owen Schools, Stone City Christian Academy and St. Vincent Depaul School.
