(BEDFORD) - Seven people were arrested following a fight outside the Hideaway Lounge early Saturday morning.
Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley says Bedford officers happened upon a group fight at the 1000 block of K Street and, reports say, when they pulled up several were still fighting and some were on the ground.
The officers requested backup and medical personnel and then walked out to break up the fight. The fight stopped and officers spoke with everyone to determine the cause and involvement of the various people.
In the end, they found 2 underage drinkers, 2 people wanted on warrant, and one person with drugs.
Everyone arrested was charged with public intoxication including 26-year-old Brandon Herald and 22-year-old David Cobb.
Other charges include 18-year-old Audra Mason and Abbey Jones were charged with illegal consumption.
30-year-old Joey Bennett and 46-year-old Richard Cobb were wanted on Lawrence County warrants for failure to appear, and 23-year-old Caleb Godsey was charged with 3 counts of possession for allegedly being found with of 2 types of Xanax and a bottle of Soma, a prescription muscle relaxant.
No charges were pressed from the actual fight.
