One Injury In Bloomington School Bus Accident

Last updated on Tuesday, February 19, 2008

(BLOOMINGTON) - One woman was injured yesterday after getting struck by a Monroe County school bus on the north end of Bloomington.

Bloomington police say bus driver Paul White was coming through an intersection on 17th Street with a green light when an Oldsmobile SUV driven by 54-year-old June Dizer of Poland was northbound on Kinser Pike, came through the intersection, and was T-boned on the drivers side by the bus.

Dizer's SUV then spun and struck another vehicle, but that driver wasn't hurt.

Dizer was taken by ambulance to Bloomington Hospital, the bus didn't have and students on board at the time of the wreck.
